About a year ago, I was fortunate enough to have been given yet another opportunity, this time to work with Fresh Lifelines for Youth (a non-profit agency which works with high risk youth in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties). I currently run their record sealing program for young adults. This program gives individuals who have gotten into legal trouble when they were younger the chance to have their juvenile record sealed so that their criminal record reflects the person they are now and not the person they were then. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to provide assistance to at-risk and disadvantaged youth looking to get a fresh start as they enter adulthood. I am a big guy (6’4”, 250 pounds) with a big smile (I do not have my smile’s actual measurements). Although my free time is minimal, I attempt to make the most of it. I am an ardent weight lifter, an avid computer user, and a fervent fan of synonyms. I love food (cooking, but especially eating), thoroughly appreciate nice weather, and am energized by meeting new people. I practice mindfulness meditation, rejoice in reading, and take deep pleasure in learning about the world.
